Vintage Rosenthal Germany Hand-Painted “Mother” Rose Cup & Saucer

A wonderfully sentimental piece of vintage German porcelain, this Rosenthal cup and saucer set features bold coral-red roses, leafy green accents, and the word “Mother” prominently displayed across the front of the cup in dramatic black Gothic-style lettering.

The warm ivory porcelain is finished with distinctive green edging along the cup rim and saucer, while the floral decoration continues across both pieces. The reverse of the cup is largely undecorated, allowing the elaborate front design to take center stage.

Both pieces bear the Rosenthal / Handpainted / Germany / 48 backstamp.

Crafted of glazed porcelain and decorated by hand with a warm ivory ground, coral-red roses, green foliage and textured green edging. The cup features “Mother” in black lettering as the centerpiece of the design.

Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related surface and decorative wear consistent with an older hand-painted porcelain piece. Please review all photographs carefully, including the rims, interior, reverse, undersides and backstamps, as they form an important part of the condition description.
